Message from the President O ne of the incredible things about being alive is having the opportunity to learn and grow with each passing day. The great desire to gain knowledge and insights into the people and things around us provides an energy that helps overcome the many challenges we confront on life's journey. We are constantly amazed by the things we didn't know, the inaccuracy of our perceptions, the actions of those we thought we knew better—and by the support we receive from unexpected people and places. Keep moving forward even when times are difficult. Approach the same challenges in new ways. Take the time to read and listen to the experiences and journeys of others. There is much to learn on the road to building a successful business—and a fulfilling life. We are starting to see the signs of an improving marketplace. Start to invest in yourself and your business. It will give you the greatest chance of achieving the success you deserve and have worked so hard for. The North Essex Chamber of Commerce exists to help businesses grow and prosper by continually looking for new ways to sharpen their competitive edge in the marketplace. Our motto—"In Business for Business"— defines our existence. The Chamber is an information center for businesses and individuals in the North Essex area. Maps, SBA brochures, municipal information, business brochures, information on wages, transportation, schools, parks, religious organizations, and recreation are supplied on request. Classes on a variety of subjects are presented monthly as well as legislative breakfasts to help keep businesspeople informed on key issues of the day. The Chamber also offers tremendous networking opportunities. The North Essex Chamber of Commerce (NECC) is here to help you succeed. We look forward to greeting new members.
